The “Crowning Works” -- Suzhou Invitational Exhibition of Works from Famous Contemporary Seal Calligraphers was unveiled at Suzhou Yinshan Lake Art Museum on the afternoon of Sept. 3. Bao Junyi, vice chairman of the China Calligraphers Association and chairman of the Guizhou Provincial Calligraphers Association, gave a lecture on the contemporary development of seal script calligraphy.
The event was co-sponsored by the Seal Script Calligraphy Committee of the China Calligraphers Association and Suzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles and undertaken by the Suzhou Calligraphers Association and Yinshan Lake Art Museum.
The exhibition features 64 works of 28 renowned calligraphers. It will last until Sept. 10.
