Recently, 221 love packages were delivered to the students of Renshan School in Wanshan District of Tongren City, southwest China’s Guizhou Province. Each package, worth 100 yuan, contains a school bag, stationery like watercolor pens, first-aid supplies such as band-aids and alcohol prep pads, and a children’s self-protection manual.
These gifts were bought with the money donated by teachers, students and their families of Tong’an Middle School in Suzhou High-tech Zone (SND) to the “Love Packages” program sponsored by the Suzhou High-tech Zone Charity Foundation. They were packed, disinfected and delivered by the SND branch of Suzhou Post Bureau.
Since 2018, the Suzhou High-tech Zone Charity Foundation has raised more than 51 million yuan in charity funds and materials and spent more than 23 million yuan on charitable activities, benefiting more than 150,000 people.
